DIGITAL EXPERTS swapped their keyboards for their handlebars earlier this month as they undertook an epic bike ride to help a local charity.
Five members from Denmark Street web design and online marketing agency Digity hopped on their bikes to pedal 54 miles from London to Brighton on Sunday, September 16.
The ride was in aid of the Ollie Young Foundation, a charity set up in memory of the five-year-old who lost his life to an incurable brain tumour.
Digity felt that they wanted to support the Wokingham-based charity as it aimed to find a cure or prevention for brain tumours using targeted research at Portsmouth’s Cellular & Molecular Neuro-Oncology Research Group.
It is the company’s charity of the year.
Digity MD Chris Lunn said: “We’ve always supported worthy causes and anyone who knows about the Ollie Young Foundation will share our passion for helping them.
“I’m delighted with the five team members who got together, took the initiative and made this happen, as it’s a fantastic achievement in terms of both the distance and raising more than £1,400 in sponsorship.
“I’m sure this will be very well utilised by the charity.”
